Your tasks
- Technical plausibility check of the OBDII registration documentation
- Creation and maintenance of diagnostic specifications in compliance with the applicable OBDII legislation
- Planning, system development and definition of new event memory entries in the OBD network
- Optimization, calibration, checking and securing of existing OBD event memory entries from control units
- Support in tracking error tickets – from implementation at the supplier to the verification and the closing of tickets
- Collaboration in the creation of specification sheets
Your qualifications and strengths
- A completed degree in mechanical engineering or vehicle technology with a focus on engine development or a related focus
- Interest in the field of e-mobility as well as a basic understanding of electrical engineering
- Practical experience in OBD vehicle and component development as well as in OBDII legislation (NAR / C6 / EU)
- Good knowledge of communication interfaces (common bus systems) in the vehicle
- Process knowledge in the area of OBDII approval documents, e.g. in the preparation and coordination
- Knowledge of actuators and actuator diagnostics as well as sensors and sensor diagnostics, e.g. about the control of defined measuring ranges and fault tolerance thresholds
- Fluent in German and good English skills
