Our application process

What exactly is the application process at e.lective?

Please send us your application exclusively online via our external applicant portal of HeavenHR. Your CV is required as well as any relevant references as well as salary expectations and your earliest possible starting date or notice period.

If you are interested in several vacancies, we recommend that you apply exclusively for one job advertisement and list other interesting positions in the text for the cover letter.

As soon as we have received your application, you will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail. Feel free to check the spam folder of your e-mail inbox. If you have not received a confirmation or if you still have questions about the position or the application process, do not hesitate to contact us.

Your application documents will be carefully reviewed by the HR department as well as by the heads or coordinators of the relevant projects or departments. Of course, we always check individually and, after your consent, are happy to review your profile across departments.

If the first impression of your profile convinces us, we will usually invite you to a quick check in the form of a 30 to 40-minute video interview as soon as possible.

When you get to know each other for the first time, you can expect a brief introduction to your career so far, as well as one or two technical questions on the respective subject area. In addition, we will discuss in detail your potential future field of work as well as the general conditions.

If you have convinced us professionally and personally, we will invite you to a second interview virtually via Teams or at our premises in Berlin after the quick check. Your interlocutors come from the relevant departments as well as the HR department.

After the second interview, a third interview may be held in exceptional cases. After the final meeting, we will usually get back to you within 7 days with a final decision.

If you have convinced us in the 2 to a maximum of 3 conversations, we will contact you by phone or via a Teams invitation within the next 7 days with an offer.

In this exchange, we discuss all contract components and benefits and clarify any outstanding questions. If you choose e.lective, your individual onboarding process begins after signing the contract. You will usually receive all the important information for your first day at work 2 weeks before your start date.
